I wasn't there, but this is where we got our Bo. We've had him for 3 years now, and our family loves him.
Picked up 2 sweet kitties yesterday. I just called, made an appointment, showed up, and walked out 15 minutes later with 2 new members of the family. The lady up there that helped me looked very busy but didn't skip on customer service. Thank you very much for a pleasant transition.
Great work they do at the Sachse Animal Shelter! And Miss Brenda is a jewel! I think I'm just going to go ahead and adopt this baby I am fostering right now.
Horrible costumer service. I have called twice in the last two days because the pet sitter lost my cat. When they answer the phone they are extremely rude, as if I am bothering.
In looking for my cat, I found a dog. The person who answered was rude about this too and not very willing.
If you do not like working here, please leave. Those of us calling are either trying to help animals or looking for our loved pets.
This is very sad, as my previous experience here was wonderful several years ago when my dog got out.
Such a great place to take on a new pet! The staff is warm and inviting and really take great care of these animals. I adopted Abigail years ago and couldn’t imagine my life without her.
I've adopted two cats from this shelter, and it was a great experience both times. I just got this sweet girl today! They treat their animals well and are great with sharing as much information as they can to help you decide if an animal is the right fit for your family.
The staff are wonderful! I have found several seniors through the years that have joined our household.
My mom has called multiple times and left voicemails to adopt a cat but never got any response. She went today after 9am and the gait was closed. Not very good service especially for someone really wanting to adopt an animal. She ended up getting a cat from Murphy animal shelter.
I got a beautiful dog here! Well taken care of, very well behaved. The staff are super friendly and will offer you all the help you need, even after adopting a pet from them. They will even check up on you periodically to make sure your new pup and kitty is doing OK.
The facility although apparently underfunded was very clean. The staff are taking very good care of the animals in their charge. Very polite, very helpful in helping us find just the right pet. I would recommend it to anyone who is seeking to adopt a pet for their family. Thank you Sachse Animal Shelter, keep up the great work.
